Have your say about the JISC website

This year we’ve made quite a lot of changes to the JISC website. As well as the new look and feel, we’ve added some new features. You can customise your JISC homepage to see content you’re interested in using a number of different widgets. We’ve implemented a faceted search for the publications section. You can now browse the site via subject-based topics. Users can instantly see the ‘most read’ content for all news, publications, podcasts and ‘what we do’ information. We’ve also developed the search engine so that you can search for information across all of our JISC Services sites.

We’re now running a survey to get feedback on these changes so that we can improve the website even further – with the option to enter our prize draw to win a £30 Amazon voucher!

In addition, we asking for volunteers to take part in usability testing of the JISC website, particularly if you’re based in London, Oxford, Birmingham or Manchester. If you’re chosen to take part in the testing, you’ll earn £40 for your help. You can sign up for user testing at the end of the survey.

The survey (8 questions) should only take about 10-15 minutes and closes on Friday 4 December 2009. Let us know what you think!
